  1. Hello to everybody!

Being a newbie, my wife and I are taking up cycling in order to train for a Triathlon. I have built and worked on standard bikes. (i.e. BMX, Ramp, Mountain) I now have the opportunity to work on our road bikes. My problem is that my wife's front tire is losing pressure. I have neglected to get a bike pump. What special pump or attachment do I need to inflate the tire after I fix the leak?

  2. Nothing particularly special. All you need is a pump with a presta valve attachment. Most modern pumps have both presta and schrader attachments, or are easily reversible. If not, you'll need a schrader to presta adapter, available at any bike shop.

  3. Or a Cyclaire pump that fits pretty much every valve type around!

    Cheers
