Tire storage

Any one have any other suggestions regarding this? I want to be able to buy
my odd sized tires in advance and keep multiple sets on hand for when they
go bad. What would be the lifespan of tires in storage?

Last month, I installed a pair of 30 year old tires and inner tubes on a
bike. They appear to be as good as new. They were hanging on a rod in my
garage -- lower level of a split level. The inner tubes were stored in
their original boxes in a hot attic. I have had gum sidewalls from old
tires disintegrate.
