Whats the point of even using Zwifts ride features if youre not going to take the time to set up a proper training plan and stick to it? I mean, seriously, how many of you are just mindlessly cruising around Watopia, pretending to be some kind of pro cyclist, without any actual structure or goals in mind?
Newsflash: just because youre riding at 300 watts doesnt mean youre actually getting any faster or improving your fitness. And dont even get me started on the so-called social aspect of Zwift - if youre not actually interacting with other riders or joining group rides, whats the point of even being online?
Im not asking for perfection here, but at least have some semblance of a plan, right? Like, what are your goals for the season? Are you training for a specific event or just trying to get in shape? And what kind of workouts are you actually doing on Zwift? Are you just doing the same old 30-minute spin classes or are you pushing yourself with some actual interval training?
Id love to hear from some of you serious Zwifters out there - whats your approach to using the platform, and how do you actually get results? Or are you all just a bunch of posers who think theyre actually getting a good workout by riding around in circles?
