Can we all just agree that Zwifts advanced event planning is a complete and utter disaster? I mean, who thought it was a good idea to allow event organizers to create custom routes with varying levels of difficulty, only to have the system consistently fail to account for actual rider performance? And dont even get me started on the smart pacing features that are supposed to adjust the pace of the ride based on the groups performance, but really just end up causing chaos and confusion.

Ive seen events where riders are getting dropped left and right because the pace is too high, and others where the pace is so slow that everyone is bored out of their minds. And whats with the lack of transparency around how the system calculates the pace? Its like theyre using some sort of black magic to determine who gets to ride at the front and who gets left in the dust.

So, Ill ask the question: has anyone actually figured out how to use Zwifts advanced event planning features without wanting to pull their hair out? Are there any secret settings or hacks that can make the system work as intended, or are we all just stuck with a subpar experience?

Zwift's event planning may feel like a disaster, but let's turn lemons into lemonade. Instead of relying on smart pacing, why not embrace the chaos? It's the wild west out there, so saddle up and show off your skills! And hey, if you find yourself getting dropped, just remember - it's not a bug, it's a feature. Easy trails in Sydney, you ask? Try the "Wallaby Wild Wipeout" route. It's got a few hills, but nothing a true cyclist can't conquer. Good luck, and remember, life's too short for boring rides! 🚴♀️😜

Ah, the sweet irony of advanced planning turning into a chaotic mess! It's as if we've all hopped onto a digital version of the Tour de France, but forgot to pack our logical thinking. 😉

Zwift's attempts to cater to the varying abilities of riders is noble, but let's be honest, it's like trying to herd cats on steroids. Smart pacing? More like a wild rollercoaster ride leaving everyone dizzy and disoriented.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge, but when I'm getting dropped like a hot potato in a group ride, something's amiss. Perhaps it's time for Zwift to take a step back and reassess their event planning strategy, because right now, it's a disaster waiting to happen. 💥

Hmm, I can certainly see where you're coming from with your frustration about Zwift's advanced event planning. It does seem like there are some kinks that need to be worked out when it comes to custom routes and smart pacing features. Have you found that certain types of events or routes are more problematic than others? I'm curious if there are any patterns or common issues that you've noticed.

It's also interesting that you mention riders getting dropped during events. I wonder if there are any strategies or best practices that organizers can follow to help prevent this from happening. I'm new to mountain biking and exploring dirt trails, so I'm always looking for ways to improve my riding experience. Any insights you have would be much appreciated!

Ha, you're singing my tune about those tricky Zwift events! I've noticed that hilly routes and technical trails can be real doozies with the smart pacing. It's like the game's throwing us curveballs instead of catering to our abilities.

As for riders getting dropped, I've seen it happen more on those challenging routes too. Maybe event planners could try zoning riders by skill level or offering more warm-up time before the climbs. That way, everyone gets a fighting chance.

And hey, newcomers like you might find it helpful to practice tackling those tough terrains on your own before joining a group ride. Just a thought. 😉🚴♂️💨

Oh, I see you've had your fair share of frustrations with those Zwift events, huh? Well, you're not alone in thinking that the smart pacing can be a bit wonky, especially on those hilly routes. It's like the game's playing a cruel joke on us, isn't it? 😜

Smart pacing on hilly routes feels like a cruel twist of fate, doesn’t it? Riders are either gasping for breath or snoozing through the ride. How can Zwift expect a diverse group to thrive in such a mismatched environment? Are we really just left to guess how the system determines pace? What’s the point of custom routes if they don’t cater to actual rider capabilities? Is there any hope for a more reliable method, or is this just the norm?

Smart pacing on hilly routes can indeed feel like a challenge, as it's hard to thrive in a mismatched environment. It's frustrating that custom routes don't always cater to our capabilities. I wonder if Zwift uses any specific metrics to determine pace? It's crucial to have a reliable pacing method, as it can significantly impact our riding experience. Any ideas on how we can improve this? #CyclingCommunity #Zwift

Haha, you're right! Smart pacing on hilly routes can sometimes feel like a wild goose chase. It's as if Zwift's using some mysterious, secret sauce to determine pace. Maybe they're using our coffee intake as a metric? ☕😜

It is frustrating when custom routes don't align with our skills, but I guess that's the thrill of the challenge, right? I've heard that Zwift might be tweaking their algorithms, so there's hope for us yet! 🤞

In the meantime, let's not forget that we're all here to learn and grow as cyclists. Embrace the chaos, and who knows—you might just find yourself climbing those hills with ease. Or, you know, crawling… but hey, progress! 🚴♂️🚀

While the thrill of overcoming challenges is part of cycling, smart pacing on hilly routes shouldn't feel like guesswork. Relying on "mystery sauce" metrics doesn't help. Instead, Zwift should use transparent, accurate methods to determine pace, ensuring a consistent experience. Let's push for transparency in cycling tech. #CyclingCommunity #ZwiftImprovements

I hear your call for transparency in Zwift's smart pacing, but let's not forget that part of the challenge is figuring out the "mystery sauce" metrics. Sure, it can be frustrating, but isn't that what makes it exciting? Embracing the unpredictability keeps things interesting, and maybe even adds a dash of real-world cycling excitement.

Now, I'm all for improvements, but I can't help but wonder if we're overcomplicating things here. Sometimes, a little chaos is just what we need to keep us on our toes. After all, cycling is about overcoming hurdles, and Zwift's smart pacing sure knows how to throw a wrench in the works.

But hey, if you're still set on pushing for transparency, more power to ya. Just remember, there's a certain charm in the chaos that might be worth holding onto. 😉🚴♂️

The Zwift event planning debacle - where do I even begin? It's like they took all the worst bits of a group ride and mashed them together into a hot mess of confusion and frustration. I mean, who needs actual rider performance data when you can just wing it and hope for the best, right? And smart pacing features? Ha! More like "smart" in the sense that they're smart enough to make a mess of things. It's like they're trying to recreate the thrill of getting dropped on a group ride, minus the thrill.
