In one of my town's local papers there is a "Thumbs Down & Thumbs Up" section where happy or annoyed locals can have a voice. So it's thumbs up or down to whoever you like. Let's go.
I'll start - Thumbs up to Christophe and Jens on their working together in the previous stage of the TDF. That's what it's all about.
thumbs down to jan for not being able to stay on his bike. not only is he my favorite rider, but i think he may have been the only one able to consistently challenge lance in the mountains AND the tt's. it's going to be hard to argue that he's in top form after two (!) crashes.

Thumbs up to the entire peloton. We have a real race this year.
Much as I admire Lance for what he has done for the sport, it's about time we started wondering who was going to win the Tour, rather than who was going to get the sprinter or KOM.
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm on the edge of my seat. What's going to happen on Courchevel?
