Just glanced at my 3/4 full bottle and saw a July 2002 best used by date. Ah . .er . .any easy tests here.
Reminds me of a bottle of rice wine I got. The top of the area said:
BEST BEFORE
and just below it, two Chinese characters. I about flipped until I took it to a chinese coworker and asked for a translation. The characters meant "best before" in Chinese.
There was no date anywhere on the bottle, by the way.
