the difference in entry fees is reflected in the lack (or presence) of
full on El Sup catering, just tea and bics for the £1 entries ( a
validated brevet card costs 75p FFS!)

You are not wrong there; but he got over 120 entries for last weeks
WOW; I was acutely aware that my event last week was not very
convenient for non local or car bound riders by the simple fact of the
local station having virtually no trains at the weekend.
