    Does anyone reading this group have experience with this bike, or the
    eXp R?

    I'm from California, but am thinking of getting one (seriously
    expensive, I know) for a trek down the Rocky Mountains next summer.
    Seems like the ideal bike for it.

    I know the Rohloff hub--had one on a Bike Friday. Good points and bad
    points, but at least no rear mech to break off.

    How are Thorn to deal with as a company?
