The Tour of Britain comes back to Castle Douglas on Tuesday the 29th
August. Once again we're the smallest town to host a stage finish, and
once again I'm organising the marshals. I'm probably going to need more
marshals than last year so any volunteers welcome.
We seem to be getting backing from the Council to run a criterium in
Kirkcudbright on Sunday 27th August, two days before ToB comes through.
It's not confirmed yet, because we're still applying for road closures,
but it's now looking more probable than not. If we get it, it's in the
prettiest part of a very pretty town, and should be great fun. Again, I
need lots of marshals.
