  1. I have some Performance brand shorts, and they're thick. Really thick. I also have some underwear that is made of a micro-fiber that are shaped more-or-less like bike shorts, and are thin and very light. I'd ride in them. But they have no padding, and I have tender bits.:p

Does anyone know a brand that is thin like that? It would be so comfortable to ride in.

  2. I am a HUGE fan of Craft. They can be thin and have a nice chamois.

I recently tried on the Pearl izumi microsensor 3D bib shorts. Thin material, but thick chamois. So, soft. I maybe buying it soon.

  3. I generally like bibs with a heavier material. It is more durable and is generally indicative of higher quality.

I do have a couple Santini bibs which are made from a fairly thin fabric, quite a bit thinner than what Assos uses. You might try that brand.

  4. Thank you both!
