At the farmer's market, in the melon section, I came upon a Mom and her
little sprout of a boy, probably 4 years old. He was going on and on about
"watermelon! I've ate watermelon bigger than my head. Watermelon. Just great
big watermelon,. I cant remember a bigger watermelon..."
I grinned from ear to ear. His Mom gave me the hand "non-stop gab" hand
gesture. I said, smiling, "I was just like him!!!"
The kid is gonna be far out!

I do love a good watermelon. Can anyone recommend a very good
watermelon syrup/flavoring for desserts, cocktails, ices, candies,
etc?

I cannot imagine this. But I can imagine great summer drinks made
with fresh watermelon juice! Ices, too!

Usually I recommend Zergut, but they don't have a watermelon.
