  1. Mentioned this many months ago on here: A DVD bought for a
forgotten amount (few quid) from The Works bookshop. I
finally got around to watching it last night.

In his will the deceased challenges his brother, husband,
ex-wife, and another friend to ride a 450 mile bike ride
raising money for some HIV charity. Great I thought - lots
of cycling, perhaps some good competition, maybe some good
    representation of team spirit.

A few minutes into the ride I began to think that the focus
was more on the emotions of cycling and the joy of success,
since when one of the cyclists reached the top of a climb I
    could feel his exhillaration.

However, following this point there were no references to
cycling other than the occasional shot of a few people
pedalling along in a very sedate way.

If you want to see a film about cycling: Don't watch it.
    On the other

families) then definitely DO watch it.

I enjoyed it, although totally not for the reasons I
expected! If anybody wants to borrow-and-pass-on-ad-
infinitum then email me and I'll post it to you.

Love and condoms from Rich x
