Makes sense I must admit. I don't know if I'll ever get all the nuances of the cyber world. I forced myself to learn enough about 'puters to get through undergrad "requirements", all of the graduate documentation and word processing, and use one for music [censored] now adays(not a word I know) as a hobby. These settings are not something I typically do (until cycling forums that is). I'm dragging on huh? Have fun this weekend.

This is sad jd. Closed ended thinking and comments? Regurgitated (or parroted) thoughts of someone
else? You started out with so much promise, [censored]-vinegar, and zeal; yet lately all we witness is
this tired, bitter, unimaginative blathering that advances or betters nothing.

You're not worth any more than that. Get it now, dim bulb?

or you flat out lie, like in this thread for instance.

You are a dim bulb, aren't you? The poster wants light and durable. The lightest durable mountain
bikes out there are singlespeeds. If that's what you call a lie, why don't you go over to barry
bargain's house and discuss it further over sone herbal tea, finishing with a duet of Kumbaya.

    Enjoy that closed minded bliss.

You take ignorance and WTF to a whole new level. Your parents would be so proud, if they cared
    about you that is.

Now that the content you referred to has been properly quoted, it's time for your coronation as this
weeks "King of Fools". Congratulations, King Dummy. Your status now, combined with the increasing
lack of content in your posts, leaves you on the brink of joining the lowest forms of life this
newsgroup has to offer. Go get some more tattoos, billboard.

Why do you live your life so obsessed with others and their view of you? Always putting others down, looking at things with such a narrow and caustic view, very cancerous, very negative, extremely juvenile in nature. As though you have something to prove. You say you don't care, however every tendency you display and nearly every word you type betrays your true interests. You know, "Me thinks thou dost protest too much" and all that. It's as if you actually believe the drivel that drips from your putrid psyche. That would lead one to only one logical conclusion: you, jd, are psychotic, mental, lacking in the reality department, nuts, out of touch...jealous of free-thinkers perhaps?
Don't bother flaming anymore, I'm done giving anymore attention to you or your posts. Please, go get laid or something.

Completely OT, however the better half and I looked at 10 (+/-) acres this evening that I may have
a hard time passing on. The house was less than desireable, but the location and terrain? Top
notch. I was dreaming of all the "possibilities" for an mtb'er on the terrain. Not that anyone's
    interested, but...

Hey, you've already fessed up to being in the PDX area, so some of us know that 10 acres is probably
within driving distance. Now its just a matter of waiting for the trails to be cut. :-)

If (not sure yet, the house on the property is less than desireable) we buy this place I'll start cutting trails before we get unpacked. Since we looked at it all I've been doing is planning on taking advantage of the steep terrain in the front and side. I need to quit obsessing over it and see what else is out there. Ride well.

  8. Wow i feel so important a post i started is getting torn up like this, hhahahhaaha and all i wanted
to know is what can take some abuse and cost under $2,000. I am thinking of taking a test ride on
the King Kikapu Deluxe next weekend and i think if i really like it ill fess up the extra bucks if
not i might just go with the enduro. Since im not really into the singlespeed idea cause i do some
long climbs that require granny gear and some fast singletracks that i enjoy my larger chainring on.
Any other ideas id love to hear though thanks again.

    Define "abuse".

While King Kikapu is a great XC bike, ( I ride one) it's not built for air, or for DH.

Plus, you are mixing up King Kikapu, Kikapu Deluxe, and a regular old Kikapu... three different
bikes set up three different ways and most certainly at different price points. That rules out the
$3999 King Kikapu Deluxe doesn't it, at your stated budget?

I can understand how reading 12 words might take up a whole chunk of your day...

  14. Thank you penny i was wrong i am speaking of the kikapu deluxe the XT version not the XTR. When i
say abuse the most ive done so far would be 4 foot drops on the singletrack and light jumping, i
would like to go a little bigger but till i perfect it i'll stick to that. So if that is outta the
scope of the kikapu please let me know before i buy one please.

    Thanx Racer

Well, the FAQ wasn't written by JD, so you'll be fine there.

Also, if reading JD's words feel like time wasted, why do you keep reading them and
    responding to them?

Fair question. Once I figured out (the Grand Valley is a small world) who jd really is, it was obvious THAT person is not worth the time to even "joke" around with in such a forum as this. I was completely disgusted and prefer to not have any part of my existence associated with such terrible things from that point forward. To those that think you know jd and have ridden with jd: what a person shows you is not always what you need to be looking at.
