Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. Anyone ride the Tammany Trace in Mandeville, LA. It's a great ride in a awesome location. It's a Rails to Trails route that connects the towns of Covington, Abita Springs, Mandeville, Bayou LaComb and Slidell. It also will take you on a side route to beautiful Lake Pontchartrain and Fontainbleau State Park.
Just looking for riding friends.
Have fun out there.

The roads here in Louisiana are mostly below standard to safely ride with traffic. I love Rails to Trails and I'm a member of the conservancy, I've done a bit of mountain biking in Colorado. I dearly love it out west. I have ridden many more asphalt miles than dirt however. I'd love to get a trailer and do some multiday rides with my camping gear in tow. Looking for a group that does this. I love backpacking as a group and some of my friends do both.
