Yes! I just read it, because of a recommendation on Amazon. Loved it, read it mostly at one sitting. I'm not a racer, but was totally engaged by this book about one day of racing.

Wierd - I've got a bookmark to part of Krabbe's website on chess. I'd never looked at the main part of his site to discover what wide-ranging talents the man has!
