    According to the L.A. Times, Discovery Channel "sponsors the only
    U.S.-based pro cycling team."

    TIAA-CREF is a biggie. Vitamin Cottage, and countless smaller sponsored
    teams come to mind for me right away. What are some other big names in
    U.S. cycling?

    Clarification - Only the Navigators (for USA) are defined by UCI as
    "Professional Continental Teams", the others are "Continental Teams"
    with mostly pro riders.

    The Pro Tour teams are classified as "UCI Pro Teams" so by that
    definition, the LA Times is correct.
