  1. Today I got an e-mail via an acquaintance who got it from someone in Ireland
containing the proofs of Jamie Oliver's as-yet-unreleased cookbook. It was
sent to me as an attachment, which I have opened, and indeed it is the real
thing, all 150+ pages. Supposedly someone at the publishing house sent it
to a friend, who distributed it to everyone he knew.

Anyone else get it or hear anything about this?

  2. There was a scam 2 or so years ago purporting to be this but it was just
a set of recipes that someone had retyped. What recipes are in the file
    you have ?

    Snopes is your friend:

    Sorry to disappoint.

LOL- I preach Snopes to EVERYONE ad nauseam!! but in this case, for some
reason it never crossed my mind. The book was typeset and as glossy as
anything can really get on a computer screen.
On the other hand, I don't have any of his books, so even if there is one
winning recipe, I will consider myself ahead of the game.

Frankly, I never open attachments of fuzzy origin, and I am fortunate to
still have a computer as we speak. Lesson noted. Thanks
