Had a great weekend. Friday night saw us drive from Fife to the Inchnadamph Outdoor Centre. Saturday I did Suilven from Inverkirkaig south of Lochinver. Perfect weather, few midges. Back at the centre one of the lads was celebrating finishing the Munros for the second time. He laid on spag. bolg. and then plum crumble for twenty . We all supplied the wine and malt whisky. Sunday I did some Diff/V.Diff on Stac Pollaidh; midges terrible. Fantastic fish supper in Rick Stein approved chippy in Ullapool. Home for a bath.
I'm sure you did, Len. I was in the area you visited for a week in the summer, and I am *itching* to get back there! Many thanks for the reminder of some excellent walking.

Having done the Munros in the area Suilven was my first non list ticking outing. Having viewed mountains like Quinag I too look forward to rerurning. In my case same time next year :-((

Quinag was my hosts' favourite hill, and I had one of the best hill days of my life on it (despite high winds and intermittent mist). [I posted a TR shortly after I got back.] You're in for a real treat!
Don't forget Foinaven - I reckon this is one of the best hills in Scotland (or anywhere) for it's character and its spectacular views (and there's always the chance that it'll be added to the "M" list"😉
