  1. I was reading about "The Cottage Cheese Test" on obesityhelp.com in the
Q and A section yesterday. People do this as a way to see just how much
their pouch can hold. You cant use soup because it trickles right out
of the pouch, protein is so dense you eat way less of it( I can only
eat like 3 tablespoons of tuna and mayo) than cottage cheese so the
cheese is a great measure. Well.... I tried it last night just out of
curiosity to see how big my pouch is. You have to load a level 1/4
measuring cup and eat it and reload the measuring cup and eat until
you're full but not uncomfortable. I ate one level 1/4C of small curd,
loaded it again and leveled it off. and I ate the second 1/4C minus one
good sized bite left. Results my pouch holds 1/2C like minus one level
tablespoon!!! Holy [censored]!!!!! Not much huh????? They say you're in big
trouble if you have had WLS and can hold 2 Cups of cottage cheese! It
means your opening at the bottom of the pouch is too big, you have
stretched your pouch out, or blown your staple line.
    Just a little WLS FYI
