They're coming soon, the greatest harbingers of spring, the Classics. I've had my own experiences riding with George and standing alongside Paul as he rubbed shoulders with the greats.
And I watched Sven Nys get thrown off course at Nommay and end up in P-Roubaix. That took some skill. The guy is truly amazing. When does he find time to do laundry?
"I looked over my shoulder at one point and there's this face that I recognize from somewhere. You know how that happens? You're just living in your regular day existence and then someone shows up and you know you've seen them somewhere before, but you're now in a place where it's all out of context?...Then it hit me. Whoa, it's the man himself."
Right now it's earlier than early season and most of us are itching to get out there and ride. Get worked up. Read about Paris-Roubaix and more at thingsbike.blogspot.com.
Please, surf the web responsibly. Don't ride and read at the same time.
Thanks,
Robbist
