  1. Anybody seen the movie 'The Transporter', or is it just me?
    Excellent scene where toeclips come in very handy. Warning:
    it's not a bicycling movie per se.

    ...in an 'everybody was kung-fu fighting' moment, the
    protagonist tips over a barrel of oil with predictable
    results. He then leaps on a nearby bicycle, somehow manages
    to snap the pedals off, and heads back into the fray, newly
    empowered with traction. Maybe not worth the price of
    admission, but a nice moment, I thought.
