i know it's always being asked fellas, but which carbon frame? i'm tempted by either the giant tcr composite advanced with its amazing weight, integrated seatpost etc. or the rather sexier looking, heavier look kg 486 with its impressive pedigree. my problem is i'd always promised myself the look when i finally got the money, but now the giant has come along i'm starting to waver. any owners out there who could provide references/testaments? i'm all ears - thanks in advance

I was looking at the same exact two frames and asked myself that question back in April.
I was impressed with both frames but the Look lacked something. First, it was stiff, but it felt like riding dead wood. Which personally I didn't like. The frame geometry of the compact TCR Comp Advanced was more to my liking and fit me like a glove. Overall, I just didnt have fun riding the Look. In the end I ended getting the Giant.
The TCR feels great climbing, its stiff but flexes just enough to make it comfortable. The bike also screams downhills and into corners. Its also really light. I've only had the bike for about three months and I've put over 4000 miles on it already. Its still fun to ride and I wouldn't trade that bike in for any other.
Honestly, you wont go wrong with either one. Both are nice frames and my decision went on personal preference based solely on frame geometry. That and the magenta adds a bit of character.
