  1. Well not quite it's still lovely out there, but the nice bike with no
    mudguards has just had its last ride and clean before going back in its
    bike bag in the loft ;-( my next big ride is an M on the calendar.

    NoveMber Yes has an M.

    A little early, best bike should be allowed out on nice days until they start
    salting the roads. Usually mid December where I live.

    M refers to the requirement of some Audax rides to use bikes with
    mudguards (mostly due to not depositing cowsh** on nice cafe seats or
    peoples' sofas) but no M does not mean you are guaranteed a nice clean
    bot, just that you won't have to sit on anything!
