We all will agree we have that one special ride, that special place, that special climb. One thing we really don't think about what can go wrong when your enjoying your self. So I have been riding short times 30 min 45 tops don't ever want to over do it. I got into cycling do to injury to my knee from hockey and running. Anyway back on track I have been riding for 6 months now so two days ago I got new pedals and shoes. I was excited I was going to push my self to a hour, hour and half ride, new shoes felt great till about 50 min into my great ride my left foot started tingling. Why is that my ride was awesome and new memories were made. Big downside was the rest of the ride my foot felt like it was half a sleep. Can anyone tell me why that can be? clipless pedals are awesome!

difficult to say, different shoes have different lasts so maybe your new show is compressing your foot, 50 minutes is not a whole lot of time, it could also be a problem of bike fit: your position on the bike, but also periferic nerves are sometimes whimsical, i get tingling on the side of my left quadricep just for being standing on the same position for too long (not on the bike)
