Dear Kristiina, better late than never. I promised Dudley I would = send you a note and when he
reminded me tonight I realised I hadn't done = it! It was a real pleasure to get a surprise parcel
from Finland and = thank you very much. We have worn the T-shirts and they are the right = size and
wash well. Dudley is still just wearing one top layer although = it will freeze tonight so maybe
tomorrow he will add a fleece on top.=20 Not a lot of news, my mother is still in hospital waiting
to go into a = home - she decided she would prefer this as she has got used to the = company in
hospital. Laurie , Dudley's uncle, continues to decline = having had kidney trouble earlier this
month so we are pretty busy at = the moment. We do however have some better news, we got the boat
back = just before Christmas and will leave it in the water so if we get a warm = spell we can use
it. Also next Saturday we will be in France to sign the = final papers for our new country cottage -
a gite in Brittany; so = something to look forward to there.
