I recently crashed my Reynolds Ouzo fork. While there doesn't appear to be
any damage, but I'm a bit apprehensive of using it again. Are there any
companies that can examine the fork to determine if it is safe to use? I
thought that I saw Calfee advertising something like this. I contacted
Reynolds, but they blew me off (obviously they want me to buy another fork).

with one hand, squeeze the blade tips together. any creaking or
cracking noises, abandon it! that doesn't test the steerer tube, but
it's about all you can do. few carbon forks break completely
unannounced. failure is genearally progressive, so again, any audible
creaking or cracking, get off & walk home.
