  1. Well, I just turned on the telly to catch the end of today's stage and it
    was already all over, and there was Richard Virenque's mug filling the
    screen. Sounds like he put in a fantastic ride today - and Voeckler, too.
    Good day all round for the French.

    Also interesting to see Lance showing off in the bunch sprint. Does he
    really think he needs the extra seconds that badly or he is just making a
    point?

    And what happened to Ullrich and Hamilton? I presume they were in the lead
    bunch at the end but none of the commentary team made any mention of them. I
    need to know - I can't wait for the highlights programme later, I'll go mad!
