hello
i am taking my other half to the finish of the tdf as a surprise - so i can't ask him anything!! - we are not going on a package - are there bookable seat's on the champs elyees - if yes with whom??
if not, i would be very grateful for any tips on whre best views - tips on anything in fact!!

All the seats on the Champs Elysees (and at the Worlds and WC finishes) are for sponsors and VIPs.
You'll have to try your luck on the roadside with everyone else.
IMO, a surprise trip to the Alps/Pyrenees would be better....get on a climb and watch the Tour go past. You can get much closer and the riders are going MUCH slower.....and you can take some awesome photos.
When the riders hit the Champs Elysees on the final stage, they won't drop under 50kmh except for the hairpin at the Arc de Triomphe.
