  1. I am researching Tazorac as a treatment for oily facial skin/adult acne and I was wondering what the
different indications for the cream vs. the gel are? When is it more desirable to use the gel and
when is it better to use the cream? Is the cream non-comedogenic? Accutane is not an option. TIA.

One would hope an cream would be non-comedogenic!

The short answer is that a gel tends to be alcohol-based and rubs in cleanly without residue, but
can irritate skin if prone to dryness. Creams tend to be more.. well, creamy, and can be better
tolerated by dry skin. If you have oily skin I'd choose the gel, personally.
