  1. Today more than ever it is vital that you prepare your skin before
leaving your office and home routine to spend days in the hot sun.

The best protection from burning is to have an established base tan
before you leave and it's best that you get on that several weeks to
several months before such a trip.

To often people show up at a tanning salon a week before the trip
expecting miracles. Start as early as you can and dont over expose.
Start slow, 2 or 3 times a week and not more that once every other day.
Most of all DON'T BURN! Many people think the way to get tan is to
burn. What they don't realize is that the tan they end up with has
nothing to do with the burning they did to get there.

Here's a checklist to get your skin in shape for the sunshine:

    1) Get a great moisturizer "for tanners" and use it at least twice a
day. Hoss' Hemp & Nuvo Bronz are great lotions.

    2) Get a bottle of Tan Enhancer Pills. These contain the Amino Acid
L-Tyrosine which seems to be even more effective taken internally. They
are cheaper than lotion and you will see the boost.

    3) Get a great accelerator, something like Nuvo Bronz Maxima or Hoss
Sauce Ultra Dark 2 or one of the other high quality brands. Put it on
before you go to the salon for maximum results (15 mins or so)

    4) Take a high quality SPF with you as well as a good lip balm. Again
Hoss makes a Rodeo 25, Body Drench makes a good one and hempz has a
    great SPF Lip Balm.

Remember, DONT BURN & ALWAYS MOISTURIZE! Healthy Skin Tans Best!

    Happy Tanning,

"it rubs the lotion on its skin"

You are a moron. The best protection is to reduce skin exposure to the
sun and to use sun block. Perhaps after you've had several bouts of
skin cancer as many of us have, you'll rethink your strategy...
