tandem sinc chain?

Synch chain isn't very fussy about it's structure in the "shifting" world, because it doesn't deal with these forces or requirments. Any new chain of proper length and strength will do the job. Since it is longer than a standard chain, you might look for a source that sell chain by the length and get the appropriate length in a single unit and one that doesn't require a special pin like many Shimano chains do.

what i am concerned about is if the chain is too skinny i will grind down the two sync rings. and if it is too wide it will slop around and also wear the rings. i settled for 8 speed sram cause it is on the other side anyways. and sheldon suggested it. so thanks. rob
