  1. Lots of people would feel they needed to make the tamales and chile themselves. But not all of us.
Some of us see an easy dinner party in our future, where we buy the tamales and chile already
made. Then we peel and cut the tamales into thirds and place them on end in the casserole pan. How
    cute is that?

    Tamales Con Chile

8 tamales 2 quarts red or green chile with cubed pork Mozzarella, cheddar and sliced Velveeta cheese

In a round or rectangular casserole, pour enough chile to just cover bottom. Peel the tamales and
slice across into 3 sections. Stand each piece on end in the casserole. Cover with cheese. Continue
until you use all the tamales. Cover with foil and bake in a 325-degree oven until heated through
and cheese is melted. - Irene Barraza Sanchez
