You're the one talking out the ass......

The system works like this (not the way you THINK it works): The riders and teams earn points based
on results. The races are sanctioned at different levels (eg: Philly is a 1.2, and Lancaster is a
1.3). Depending on the race level, the teams with the highest rankings are allowed in, starting with
TT1, TT2, etc.

It should not be a case of just because you have a Pro license, you should be in the biggest races.
Only the best riders and teams should be in the biggest events, but in the US this isn't the case.

Also, you think that Pro Cycling is a place for riders to prove themselves? What other business
would hire people to see if they can become "good"? First you are good, then you turn Pro. The cat 2
wannabees all think that the Pro riders and events owe them something and are there to "develop"
them. What a crock! They need to stop whining and start training harder.....

Therefore, the D3 were not "closer to the top", they were the top.
