Student in the office buys a 2nd hand MTB to ride the 5 miles to work.
Sound OK. First day it takes him an hour ... this is someone who
professes to be fit and good at football... and complains his back hurt,
this hurt that hurt, etc.
Today, Iset the saddle height correctly, raising it 7 inches and getting
a large upward tilt of the saddle leveled off.
The cheap front tyre had seen better days, as most of the knobbles had
come off, leaving patches of rubberised canvas .... don't pump this up
any more, get a new tyre.
He asks a question about how to turn the lights on, as he can't find any
switches. There are no switches on reflectors ! Oh, are these not OK
then ?
I've alsotold him to get a small rucksack to put his lunch and lock in,
instead of the flimsy carrier bag bouncing off the front wheel.
Well, he's left it at work, with the intention of getting some lights
that work.
At least he is cycling
