Tayside and Central Transport, a government quango, have a consultation open on their transport strategy document, available on the website http://www.tactran.gov.uk/
It appears to pay little more than lip service to cycling. If you want to put in a response then it should be done by March 17th.

It doesn't appear to pay lip service to just cycling - but to EVERYTHING. Typical [censored] website put together by no-brained management consultants with no idea of what it is they're trying to say, just attempting to justify their undoubtedly ludicrously exorbitant fees.
(Apologies if there is some evidence of 'lip service' in there. I might have missed it in the corporate self justification.)

Hehe the summary of the strategy under "cycling and walking" says: "Develop, deliver and monitor a Walking and Cycling Strategy for the Region".
I don't even call that lip service, as this is the regional transport stategy should there should be a regional walking/cycling strategy in there! I've not bothered reading the whole document, I assume if there's anything interesting in it then it will be posted on here by someone else!
