I had to let go of a Cannondale ST1000 (touring frame.) I enjoyed touring wheels because it feels like it would be far more sturdy than conventional sports road bikes. I'm looking for a replacement.
I was wondering what the cycilng populace thought of this bike, and what a good price for it would be.
Purpose would be commute and recreation. I'd like something that could stand up to NYC potholes and traffic, as well as provide a comfortable ride in central park.

If this is the correct size for you, I think it would be a good selectionfor your purposes. $350 is a fair price + shipping and insurance. I would get the original T2000 fork for the additional shipping.

The price has since gone up considerably, is $500 a bad price worth paying for?
