HI! I am 170cm (5ft6"😉 and from the sizing chart, the lenght of my forearm is 13.8-14".
So am i supposed to take an S or M? I am purchasing it soon..so need some guidance here.
Any expereinces as to how different S and M sizes are?

go to the lbs. the box has a chart that you can place your arm against for a better idea of fit.
also, I was right on the borderline between m and l...got the m, but had to go back and exchange for the large.

I would tend to recommend the small for you, but it may depend on how low you think you could ride. The medium will stretch you out a little more forward (it simply has longer handles), which you may find brings your chest uncomfortably low and strains your back.
I'm 5'8", and bought the M, although it was a close decision between medium and small. My LBS let me take a pair of both home and try them out. (Then he gave me $20 of RRP because I am a regular customer). This is the definite advantage of getting to know your local LBS.
Good luck,
Harrow.
