Synapse Carbon 5 - 2008 vs 2009, major difference?

I have a chance to buy a 2008 Cannondale Synapse carbon 5 at a good price. Is there a significant difference between the '08 models and the newer '09/'10? I know the BB is beefier on the new bikes and the brake cable is routed through the top tube but would I notice a real difference between the two? I'm a new rider and kind of settled on the Synapse for being a good bike for the money, comfortable, good components.
