The 57-year-old man's bicycle and a BMW sedan collided at the intersection of Carabella Road and Grenville Avenue, Caringbah, about 7.45pm (AEST) on Tuesday, police said. The man was thrown onto the roadway and suffered multiple injuries. He was taken to St George Hospital where he underwent surgery for head injuries and remains in a critical condition.

A CYCLIST is in a critical condition after his bike and a car collided
