  1. Spotted the following in Hansard of March 28 that may give some comfort
    to users of SWT

    "The franchise replacement process provides an opportunity to improve
    cycle facilities at stations, and to address the requirements of
    cyclists who wish to use trains. Bidders for the imminent South Western
    franchise will be asked to consider cycle-rail integration matters in
    their bid submissions."

    They will say that they have considered it, it is all too difficult
    and they are going to ban all non-folding bikes.
