  1. Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

6 Servings 2 pounds lean ground beef 1 cup bread crumbs, or crushed crackers 1 1/2 cups onion,
chopped (about 1 small onion) 1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 eggs 1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce, use 1/2 for meatloaf, 1/2 for topping 2
    tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2/4 teaspoon garlic, minced 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
    3/4 cup celery, chopped

    TOPPING 2 tablespoons brown sugar
4/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 2 teaspoons prepared mustard remainder of tomato sauce

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except ones for topping, mixing well. Place in a baking pan
and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Topping: In a sauce pan, mix topping ingredients and bring
to a boil. Pour over meat loaf about 10 minutes before meatloaf is done. This recipe was passed on
to me by my mother, who got it from her brother John.
