I have an old Italian bike with a cottered crank. I cannot get a cotter to fit in there well enough to keep the crank arm from moving around while pedalling. I am wondering if I can get a different spindle and bolt some other cranks on there, keeping the current cups. Or do I need to completely replace the BB?

One of the Sugino models that begins with a "5" will fit your cups.
