I did access the site earlier today successfully. I had a look to see
where the bit of route went between Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay, as we
ended up riding along an A road after we missed a turn.

You need to turn right in the middle of Inverkeithing, no idea if it
is signposted, at the north end of the square and head towards the
(former, small) harbour. The scenery is not brilliant and there is
very little of it before you enter the emptiness of Dalgety Bay. The
route through there has been designed to confuse invaders and, as
all roads in Dalgety Bay look much the same as they meander around,
navigational errors are likely.

On Friday yes, over the weekend, no. Clicking on the map of UK doesn't
bring up more detailed maps. I'm on ISDN, but I don't think that's
relevant.
