Someone might have the info you need, but you have to tell us the kind of
fork you have. You might also see if the mfr has a web site with some
technical info and a spring kit.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it just appears to be a cheap run of the
mill suspension fork. I will have to get a long socket extension bar to
split them and have a look.
