I have a new design for suspension. Where Can I go to learn to build suspension bikes? I would like to know how to make carbon fiber frames because I think I could make an awesome bike with 6 inches rear travel. (I already have designs for bikes with as much as 11 inches of travel and a 2:1 suspension ratio.) My latest design won't have any chainline problems, but the 11 inch design (the lion-s) needs a tranny like the honda bikes.
well if you wanna learn how to build frames you could go to UBI (www.bikeschool.com i think) but they dont have a course that tells you how to build with carbon fibre, im not even sure how the carbon is used when making bikes, i know about carbon and how its used for most things like im going to be building a custom kayak soon but im not sure how you'd build a frame with it
im planning on going to UBI in a few years but im not sure if ill do any frame building courses.. if i do do any ill do the titanium one just so that i can make me a frame :p

[/QUOTE] well with a bike frame I know that you have to something to compress the carbon fiber against a foam core. And the direction of the weave is changed slightly for each layup. That's pretty much all I know though.
