  1. What advantages does compressed air suspension have over a spring suspension?
    I got this mountain bike that uses a suspension that can be pumped up with a standard bike pump.

    Lighter, more adjustable, generally better quality but not always.

  3. I think air is just easier to adjust firmness. Only downside to air is it would be a pita to adjust if you have already left home without your pump. I dont have enough experience with either to comment on durability

  4. Air is more easily adjustable and springs require less maintenance. Air shocks rely on their seals being just right, while a spring fork isn't that particular.
