Any good suggestions for things to do in support of the cyclists, there and elsewhere?
- sympathy group ride in your hometown - give a dollar to your local cycling lobby for every New York critical mass supporter apprehended (they are the ones who do all the ground work looking into ways your city can improve for cyclists, and actually working with government to make it happen)

I'm at a loss to understand why riding your bike in the city is deemed a criminal act, just because you're in a group. Cars follow each other arround the city all day long, blocking lanes, and causing jams, and no-one arrests them.
