On May 26th, Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) introduced a bill that would
ban DHEA. This legislation, S. 1137, would classify DHEA as an anabolic
steroid and remove it from the market. Similar legislation is expected soon
in the House of Representatives.
Many people do not use DHEA, but this is just the beginning...they even have
creatine and other supplements on their list to removed from the market.
Why Congress isn't addressing "real" issues is beyond me. Instead, they
attack our freedoms by trying to ban supplements like DHEA, creatine and
others as a way to make themselves feel more righteous and are driven by
other motivating factors like greed and misinformation.
