  1. Yes ... after the last couple of gloomy wet days, today was wall-to-wall
sunshine with plenty of puffy clouds breaking up the blue sky. Fortunately,
had an extra day of work so the boots had another outing. Started out from
the car park on the South Downs Way below Cocking Down and dropped down the
track from Hill Barn to Cocking village. Continued east on country lanes,
tracks and paths through Graffham to East Lavington. Passed through the
grounds of Seaford College and up onto the South Downs Way west of
Woolavington Down. Had lunch soon after getting onto the South Downs, then
followed the South Downs Way back to the car park. Great outing after the
    last two days bleak weather.

Did your boots have a nice day out while you were at work? ;-)

Well .............. yes they did Paul, and they thoroughly enjoyed
transporting me around the South Downs. Didn't even charge me a fee for
the effort! In fact, they did so well I gave them a jolly good clean as a
    reward on their return.
