Sun EZ-3 AX trike?

Anyone on the newsgroup own on of these trikes? How much better are the compenants then on the EZ-3 SX? Is the extra cost worth it? Also, is there any info about the shifter and other compenants? Want something I can ride around in a small town and on bike paths. Will be riding it on gravel driveway and block worth of gravel each time starting out. SK
